VPN & Proxy Issues

If you are encountering persistent connection or login issues, you should consider using a Virtual Private Network (VPN). Using a VPN will change the route your connection takes to the server, potentially avoiding the cause of the connection problem.

It should be noted that when using a VPN your IP address will change. Among other things, an IP address is used to show where in the world your connection originates. Depending upon where your VPN connects through it could show your account being accessed from another country. Please bear this in mind if you are reviewing your Account Activity.

Using a VPN may also cause prompts for you to go through additional security checks, such as reCAPTCHA, before logging into an account or web site.

If you decide to use a free VPN be aware that free VPNs may have certain downsides and risks associated with them and should only be used as a troubleshooting tool.

We do not require you to inform us before using a VPN.
